Jan Jackson Maris

Jan Jackson Maris was born and raised in Newport. Her father, E. Bob Jackson, was the founder of Jackson’s Funeral Home. Jan and her husband, Rhett, have one daughter, Jessica. In 1987, Jan became a member of the board of directors of Jackson’s Funeral Homes, Inc. and Jackson-Griffin Insurance Company. She worked under her father’s guidance until his death in 1996, and she currently serves as President of both companies

Rhett Maris

Rhett Maris is also a Newport native. In 1987, he joined the Jackson’s Funeral Home family. He is a licensed funeral director and serves as the Secretary/Treasurer of both Jackson’s Funeral Homes, Inc. and Jackson-Griffin Insurance Company.

Jerry Lynn Hulett

A United States Army veteran, Jerry Lynn Hulett became an invaluable member of Jackson’s Funeral Home in 1959 while he was still in high school. He is a licensed funeral director and embalmer. Mr. Hulett departed this life on December 27, 2015, but will always be in the memory of all he served over the many years.

Brian Carter

Brian Carter joined the Jackson’s Funeral Home staff in 1996. He is a licensed funeral director and embalmer. Brian serves as manager of Jackson’s Funeral Home in Harrisburg. 

Cristopher Michael Driver

Cris Driver, a graduate of Newport High School, became a part of the Jackson’s Funeral Home family in 2000 before becoming a licensed funeral director in 2002 and a licensed embalmer in 2005.

Karen Raibley

Karen Raibley is a graduate of Tuckerman High School, and Arkansas State University, where she also attended graduate school. She began working at Jackson’s Funeral Home in 2002, later becoming a licensed funeral director in 2006. Karen serves Jackson's Funeral Home as a family service counselor and funeral director. She is the wife of Mike Raibley, and mother of two sons, Logan and Ethan.

DeeDee DuPree

Dee Dee Rutledge DuPree joined the Jackson’s Funeral Homes staff as a pre-need prepaid specialist in 2014. She became a member of the Jackson County community in 1985, when she married Joe DuPree. They have three sons, Jake, Will, and Jim. The DuPree’s are members of the First Presbyterian Church and active in the community.

Donald Gene Roberts, Sr.

Donald Roberts, Sr. and his wife, Maude, are the proud parents of three children. Donald began work at Jackson’s Funeral Home in 2001. Although he serves diligently at the funeral home, he still operates his family farm

Virginia Burns

Virginia McCloud Burns joined the Jackson’s Funeral Home staff in 2014. A lifelong resident of Jackson County, Virginia is active in her community, her family, her church, First United Pentecostal Church of Newport, and a proud mother to her son, T.J.

Betty Carlton

Betty has been with Jackson's several years as Visitation Hostess and weekend secretary. She has one son, Jamie, and lives in Newport.
