Obituary for Barbara LeFlore

Barbara  LeFlore
Mrs. Barbara (Turner) Leflore of Newport, Arkansas, departed this life on Monday, November 20, 2017 at the age of 70. She was born May 17, 1947 in Newport, the daughter of Jessie and Mable (Westerman) Turner. She married Mr. James Wayne Lefore on September 26, 1975, and together they spent 42 years.
Mrs. Leflore was a homemaker, whose greatest joy was doing for others, especially her family. She was a loving, unselfish person, who enjoyed sewing and cooking for others. Mrs. Leflore was a member of Lakeside Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Glenn and James Turner; and her parents.
Mrs. Leflore is survived by her husband, James Leflore of the home; one son, Roger Faust and wife, Nuray of Malvern; three daughters, Tammy Wood and husband, Chris of Cord, Crystal Candler and husband, Ty of Searcy, and Angela Cissell and husband, Judd of Newport; four brothers, Sammy Turner and wife, Flo of Searcy, Junior Turner and wife, Debbie of Harrison, Jimmy Turner and wife, Debbie of Fairfield, Ohio, and Larry Turner of Searcy; three sisters, Wanda Dixon of Fair Oaks, Betty Osborne and husband, Wes of Newport, and Sue Johnson and husband, Tim of Desha; seven grandchildren, Natasha Faust of Germany, Roger Faust, III of Newport, Bo Hutchinson of Newport, Ty Faust of Newport, Hunter Wood of Cord, Grace Hutchinson of Newport, Macey Faust of Malvern, and David Cissell of Newport; two great-grandchildren, Tizinia and Sophia; a host of nieces and nephews, and a lifetime of friends.
Friends may visit at the funeral home, Friday, 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Jackson’s Newport Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Watson Cemetery.
