Madge  Bullard
Mrs. Madge Marie (McCoy) Bullard of Newport, Arkansas, departed this life on Friday, October 27, 2017 at the age of 91. She was born July 26, 1926 in Grubbs, the daughter of James Franklin and Gertrude (Noble) McCoy.
Mrs. Bullard worked as a telephone engineer for Southwestern Bell over twenty years, retiring in 1988. She enjoyed crocheting and gardening, but will be remembered above all for the love she had of taking care of her family, friends, and all animals. She was a member of Holden Avenue Church of Christ.
Mrs. Bullard was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Dean Bullard, Sr.; one brother, Frank Sonny McCoy; and three sisters, Helen McCoy, Loudean Bullard, and Fannie “Fran” Nance.
She is survived by one son, Jerry Bullard and wife, Ginger, of El Dorado; one daughter, Marie Ann Gibbons of Newport; two brothers, James McCoy and wife, June of California, and Ronnie McCoy and wife, Jan, of Burleson, Texas; one sister, Mary McCoy McKee of Newport; two grandchildren, Sara Bullard and Rachel Miller and husband, Kirk; two great-grandchildren, McCoy and Violet; many nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of friends.
Friends may visit at the funeral home, Monday, 12:30-1:30 p.m. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Maple Springs Cemetery, with Mr. Stan McKee and Mr. Ryan Wilson officiating.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Greg Sink, John Sink, Dinny Bullard, Pat McCoy, Stan McKee, and Kirk Miller.
